I know artex is the height of naff, but searches online have only found how to remove it - I need to clean a patch of artex.

Any ideas for how to clean this sort of surface?

not really,but a soft brush would be better than a sponge,as the sponge will only glide over it,were as a brush will get in the gaps easier
