Stayed up late last night. Watched "THe Fog" all on my own. Then got hunger pangs, so went and raided the fridge. Just me, myself and the dog. Then went upstairs to bed in the dark. Pulled the bathroom light cord, tripped, nearly pulled darn thing of ceiling, woke the boss up as well. So got told of for being so noisy. Flippin cheek , its my house to.

Oh!!! Sh*t lil, catches me out every time. I was singing VERY softly, promise. THe poor woman is all put about after watching film, its our job to help a lady in distress. Her hubby isn't even home yet to comfort her.

i dont know whether his rotten team is winning but i hope it's worth the effort! claude is wanting me to go to bed. she is stretched out in the hallway mewing at me and generally beginning to play up as she always does when she wants to go to bed but one or the other of us isnt' ready!!

Biddy do you mean Claude is waiting for you to go to bed so that she can sleep on your bed too? Or is she waiting for you to go to bed so that she can settle down in her own bed/basket somewhere? Just wondered as when we had cats we didn't normally used to let them sleep on our bed as they kept waking us up in the night or early morning! There were some occasions when for some reason or other they did sleep on our bed though!

she sleeps on top of the duvet between my feet. if i didnt let her she would scratch teh door to bits! not to mention keeping us awake with her yowling. she pads up, gives us a cheek rub then settles down really good and well behaved!

Has anyone seen the film "The Changling", George c scott, terrific scarry film, good story.

no havnet seen that. i think the worst film forscariness iever saw was the shining. made my hair stand up!

That reminds me of when we went to a holiday cottage for a week at Easter a few years ago and took our cat with us. He came up the stairs at night and if we didn't let him come into our bedroom he would yowl outside the door for ages! So we let him in the bedroom but he still wouldn't settle, kept jumping on and off the bed all night and crying! This happened every night so having had very little sleep I was tired every day for the whole week! Of course our cat chose to be fast asleep all day!
We had taken him to a lot of different holiday cottages for Xmas week from the time he was a kitten (and when we had 2 cats we took both of them), but we didn't have any such problems before. I think it was because the layout of the property was more open-plan and he could get upstairs. Whereas at previous cottages we had usually kept our cats in one room downstairs at night as it always says you shouldn't allow pets upstairs in these holiday properties anyway.

lol. I was in a bad way after watching the ring. my hubby worked nights at the time and I was imagining that girl creeping up the stairs to get me!
