Hi all i have just moved into a new house and the previous owners left the kitchen and bathroom blinds up but they are really dirty and i wondered if anyone had any idea's on how to clean them as i really don't want the expense of buying new ones right now.Thanks

they feel like a very thick nylon or similar kind of material

Try a good quality washing up liquid with a splash of bleach (depending on the colour!) Good luck
