I keep all my flour/sugar/and other baking stuff in individual plastic containers with contents marked on the outside with a permament marker...tried to wash it off when i changed contents and it would not come off...so I sprayed a bit of furniture polish on it and hey presto off it came!!! a wee useless tip!
