Hi Battleaxe..i would have suggestes a feather duster but have tried that...get a dame cloth and something long and firm that will fit down the gap..like a long wire..then pass the wire through the cloth like a needle and then push the wire down through the gap in the rad and pull it out other end and the cloth should collect any dirt ..rinse and repeat....you can try to vaccumm first as most cleaners have an attachment to get in places like that...hope this helps...
The attachments on your hoover should be able to get rid of some of the dust as chaddysays. If you have small hands, put an old clean towelling sock on your hand & use that if you can!
Thanks all for your replies. I have to admit mine are quite far gone (I want to be thorough) and my hoover bits don't fit down there, but I am going to have a go at the wire and cloth bit Chaddy. Perhaps we should invent something that does the trick and make a million selling them! When you mentioned I should find something long and firm, my eyes did glaze over a little
lol lol lol ..good idea about marketing a product battleaxa......had visions of you partner over a radiator and you shouting "cant you push it in further".......
Yeah! But I think Kim and Aggie have already done it (the double act I mean). How about this, has anyone got one of those venetian blind cleaner thingys, I haven't, but if someone could tell me if that would work, the Bettaware man could get a shock this month.
