Can anyone help? I've read in Kim and Aggie's book that spraying the bathroom mirrors with shaving foam stops them getting steamed up i've tried it and it doesn't work for me. Does anyone have any tips please? ta

It wouldn't surprise me if they expected you to leave the shaving foam on the mirrors.

Rub the foam into the mirror, the effect doesn't last very long though, a couple of days usually. Maybe it depends on the foam Confused

get yourself some astonish glass cleaner from the £1 shops..its in a clear spray bottle and a green colour...it is easy to clean your bathroom mirror when needed with astonish glass cleaner and also good on tiles too.....i used to use kitchenroll to clean it off again but hubby has in the garage paper like it was a massive toilet roll and it is stronger than k/roll and better at cleaning windows or mirrors...its about £2 a roll and you get it in blue or white from £1 shops too( well we do here) or market stalls that sell washing powder and stuff like that

LOL @ Road Trip! Big Grin

It wouldn't surprise me if they used their own shaving cream to do it!

KG, I tried this a few days ago and it worked for me but I assume that it would only work for a couple of days.

I always use furniture polish on mine as it's the only thing that gives it a nice shine

or perhaps use fabric softener (like K and A use on tvs) if it stops the static it may stop it from steaming up.

Hi,

What you need is a mirror demister, we bought one from this website www.mirrordemsters.co.uk, and its brill, all we did was wire it into the lights so it only on when the lights are on and we have steam free mirrors!

How about opening the door????

Meths cleans the mirror, but I dont know of anything that stops a cold surface from steaming up when its surrounded by hot damp air or breath
