My toilet is clean, but I just can't get the water stains out. It's not the water level mark that is the problem, it's the area just under the rim where the water comes out to refill the bowl when I've flushed.
I've tried bleach, both liquid and gel, and toothpaste as well, and just plain ol' elbow grease and scrubbing as hard as I can.
isnt it KABOOM or something like that that you put in the toilet that cleans it, it comes in powder form and you add it to the water and it foams up to remove limescale etc. I could be wrong.... oh there is also the borax thing that K and A do. can remember the quantities but im sure someone else on here will though!!
we're the queens of cleaning - the 'CLEANING QUEENS'
I found that Harpic 100% Limescale Remover did the trick for me, having tried Limelite and Viakal without success. K & A's tip is to bale out the water and cover the limescale with a thick paste of laundry borax and vinegar, leaving it for a couple of hours before scrubbing off.
Thanks all! I am from Nova Scotia, Canada, so I'm not sure if we have all of the different brands you've mentioned, but I'll write them all down and go off to the shops. Definitely have borax though, so that's a start!
