Well done chaddy, that's brilliant. It's very hard to lose weight in winter, don't you think so? It's too cold to be eating salads, that's for sure! The walking seems to be paying off for you, good exercise & it's free too. How long do you think it'll take you to grt to your preferred weight? Good luck, you can do it.

Well done you ! I need to lose a stone (ideally 2 stone) but I've not been that light since school. I'm quite tempted to dust the cobwebs off my bike and go out on that after watching Fern Britton cycling up the Nile on this morning.

Hi Chaddy That's great...and really inspirational because last weekend I too had the urge to get up and do something about my "shrinking jeans"! So I decided to start walking about 50 mins every day. Just the same as you! I used to do that every day with the pram when my youngest was a baby and I felt great. But you know how it is... they grow up and you find other things to do! So I'm only a week down and although I haven't noticed too much of a change, I feel really revitalised! Also it gives me 50 mins of complete selfish "me time"! I am hoping that this time next week there may be some noticable improvements! Well done you though, and keep it up! Let me know what you feel like after another week!
I dream in lilac...

Do you have nice places to walk chaddy? I'd like to do that but apart from finding a spare hour it's awful here, all streets & no parks, and I don't see the point of walking up & down the dodgy streets here, too many muggers & junkies, in fact the people opposite us have just been evicted, they were selling drugs from their house, they trashed the house before they went & left their 2 cats in the boarded up house, the nasty sods. Yhe RSPCA have the cats now.

oh the poor wee cats..glad the RSPCA have them now...I am lucky we have a few nice areas where we can walk..and have two parks near by...I did not walk this past 2 days due to severe fog and frost..the roads and footpaths were too slippy...we went shopping today and had our lunch in Subway..then later to night we had fish & chips in a wee cafe and a bag of chocolate raisins to eat in the car on the way home!!!! will be back on track tomorrow...then heavy snow due on Thursday...whats a girl got to do!!!!!
