Use the vacuum cleaner hose with the dusting brush attachment. Or, for light dust use a clean paintbrush, working well into the holes. When cane, wicker or rattan get really filthy they can be hosed down with cold water and left to dry outside on a dry day. This also tightens up sagging chair seats. But dont' use a hairdryer - the heat will dry the fibres and cause cracks.
Thank you, I've tried the vacume hose, doesn't quite get into the grooves, not enough. Can I use a lemon oil on it? or will this ruin it & soften the fibres too much? Thanks again
