know no-one asked for this tip but im so happy that ive found a way to get rid of hair dye stain in bathroom that i thought i'd share it with you guys (someone might find it useful)
whilst dying my grey hair brown, i splashed some on the carpet (not my choice to have carpet in bathroom). Anyway, it turns out that white spirit gets rid of it without causing any damage to carpet. just takes some rinsing.

i always get hair dye everywhere, are we talking semi permant or permant

i have to use permanant cause ive so much grey but i guess it works on both.

slight change of subject but I've just dripped a big blob of deep red nail varnish on my 1 yr old carpet.

I then went on to make it worse by dabbing at it with a cotton wool ball with nail varnish remover on it.

It is now a kind of reddish pink mess about an inch or more wide.

Any suggestions apart from calling the insurance company which I am very loathed to do as I have a £500 excess!

And don't say be more bl**dy careful either
