we usually put our outside decotations up about the 10th dec...before the family across the street..now they were friendly to us..but we are getting the cold shoulder and to-day he was out putting up some of their decorations!!!!he does not have then switched on....I had a laugh to myself....ours still wont go up for another 2 weeks!!!!!!

i cant understand why people think they have to beat the jones .  does it really matter who puts theirs up first  ive a couple of neighbours here who just have to go one better than the other WHY they,ve all got kids that play with eachother,surelly all the parents are going to achieve out of this ,are the kids fighting over whos got the better decorations,lights and tree. isnt xmas for the kids im starting to wonder

You get the house all spick and span, then put the tree up, and lounge needs good vac afterwards. wee tincal bits every where.

i bought my turkey and ham today(raw and frozen) as a florist i will be very busy the week or two before and try to have all orders ready for collection/delivery by christmas eve..so as to clean house prepare dinner and what other wee jobs need done......I can do several jobs at once!!! like all woman

Got almost all the pressies bought now, but wont put up the tree untill next weekend. half our road is decorated already, outside lights the lot. it looks lovely tonight,  but still a bit early for me.
