It was Milton sterilising solution, that you use to sterilise baby things. It was a 5:1 solution of warm water and Milton. I am a little unsure how long they soaked them for, probably quite a lot longer than we are aware, because they were particularly grubby. LOL

Thank you very much TiaKitty. If the rest of their house is anything to go by, they probably were rather grubby I should think........

They folded the nets up when they took them down, put them uin the Milton solution for a bit, kneaded them but didn't rub them if I remember rightly, then took them out, kept them folded and wrapped them in towels,( not sure if they walked on the towels to get the moisture out,) but that was about it really, when thy unfolded the nets they were readty to hang - it's best to hang nets up while they are still slightly damp

Hi FB, I remember Kim doing what she called her 'dance of joy' jumping all over the nets wrapped in a towel I also remember Kim washing nets using false teeth cleaning tablets dissolved in warm water.

Hi Helen, Kim seems to enjoy dancing on a variety of materials doesn't she? They use denture cleaning tablets for quite a few different things, such as cleaning the loo & I think I vaguely remember them cleaning a kettle with them once
