Well girls another monday looming, but sure what does it matter. Another day closer to lovely Christmas,and beautiful music, lovely food, georgus smells. surprises, family, and extra inches on the hips, but if that happens you must say you are not over weight, just under tall. You can tell i'm in one if those daft moods.

i need cheering up after my headache day!! lay on the bed this afternoon in the dark to try to make it go. still there a bit now but not quite as thumpy.

tomorrow i shall work till lunch then go and try to find my new dental practice. i am due there on tuesday at 8.45!! i am not sure where it is so had better check whilst i have time to spare.

wrote all christmas cards out yesterday!

tomorrow ,one of me kids is off school as they got no heating ,so i got to drag him shopping to iceland,then woolworths to get me tin of chocs to put away for xmas and have a butchers in the other shops to get ideas for the family prezzies,then to the fruit and veg stall and then home to do more bloody housework .so what an exciting day ahead of me.

I have this list of do's to remember, Phone for hair appointment, Phone to see when dentist wants me to come in. They dont put day on letter, just say phone for appointment. Remember flu jab on wed. Remember to get rim blocks for loo. Phone washing machine people. Want to try and get hair appointment and flu jab on same day as Mr.s has day of and want to do some shopping, as well as have a bite to eat, out.. Its all flippin go. Biddy hope your head is feeling better. Talking of pressies i haven't got a clue what to get Mr.s. I bought him a juicer last year as hes mad on pure fruit juice. Year before, i bought him a Timberland watch. apart from the usual, nice after shave and deoderent which he loves,what do i get him, you always get your other half something special but i'm totally stuck, any ideas would be welcome. lil, i always get Quality street went of roses.

I never know what to get my nieces & nephews, the ones I buy for range from nearly 3 to nearly 20! So I end up just sticking £10 or £20 in their Xmas cards, as it's hard to get to see them as well & I don't like posting bulky pressies. And some of them have birthdays in December & early January too, but of course you can never find a decent birthday card then!

My day will be boring, on Friday I was asked to go full time at work for 2 weeks( but may run till Xmas), so am doing that for extra dosh & more aggro!

Told my mum off this morning as she said she hasn't had flu jab yet as she's been too busy. Now she has a cold and can't have the jab until she feels better.

Seems like everyone else is getting their act together with regards to Christmas so I better pull my finger out ! Have brother, sister-in-law and their 4 kids coming to stay in a couple of week so best get their prezzies sorted first and they can take them back oop north with them.

head better thanks, but i really needed a good sleep to get rid of it. going to dentist tomororw for a filling! hate dentists!!!!

when i get home i shall do the cleaning and take my time as mr biddy is fishing all day so i can do a late dinner. it is going to rain and be gale force wind tomorrow so i hear!!! poor mr biddy sitting on the river bank freezing!!! i think i shall do him a hot stew for wehn he gets back.

Hope you went on OK at the dentists SAH. I know what your doc means about 'flu, I had it once, & it really knocks the stuffing out of you.

I had to have some work done at the dentist recently and I haven't had anything done for about 8 years and got myself in a right state. In the end it really wasn't bad at all, it was more the thought of it. Hope you were OK.

Hope the dentist goes okay Biddy. I have to go for a check-up next month. By the way did you say you had a job interview recently...I was wondering how you got on (sorry if you've already said and I missed it).

this is all for replacing old work that has come away, i havent been for so long that it is needing replacement. he didnt find anything new!! i also need a scale and polish too, this is incredible and will need to be done in stages!!!

took out a new payment plan for it as it will be easier that way.

desptie driving around to find the new place yestrday i still took a wrong turnng this morning and ended up phoning mr b iddy who was fishing and asking for directions back again!!!

i did get a f ree tube of toothpaste out of it though!

oh janni by the way was offered the job but it was a £175 per month drop in pay as i would have to start over again so i declined it. with my huge dentists bill just as well i did!!

Biddy sorry to hear about the expensive work that the dentist is going to do. The prices are so high - I had a crown replaced in April of this year which cost £350. However I've found that since I've been using an electric toothbrush rather than a manual one I haven't needed to have a scale and polish for several years, so I'm pleased about that.
Sounds as though you did the right thing declining the lower paid job!

got new deal with dentist. you can have 3 plans and for so much per month £12.50 in my case, you can be covered for treatment adn get a percentage off. also, you get two free chekc ups per year and 30 minutes free with the hygienist (shudders at thought!!) this will be a better deal so i ssent off the form today and hopefully by the time i go again i shall be able to afford it!!

i had my crown fitted 2day ,and had the biggest shock of my life when i got home,

i went to the bathroom to have a nose inthe mirror and theres me thinking im going to find a new white crown ,i opened me gob and found a gold crown looking at me,im not complaining about it cos i quite like it but was a bit shocked.

oh dear!! he should have told you lady lil!! there is a pretty huge price differece at our surgery for all sorts of filings and crowns. i will never have anotyher crown if i can help it - extortionate!
