Recently i have noticed bugs in my carpet and i cant find out what they are (ie internet) they look like tiny tiny caterpillars but are browny beige in colour, they have been found around the edge of the room by the skirting board but have recently found them crawling up the wall. There havent been loads (like an infestation) but for only having new carpets this year and hoovering everyday im wondering where they are coming from! any ideas??!!

Sounds like they could be centipeds. We get them in the house all the time. They are attracted to moisture. Sometimes if we've had a bit of rain, they'll come out of hiding and climb the walls. Wish I knew of a way to get rid of them as they are so ugly.
have you tried nippon bug spray, thats pretty good stuff, you can get it for ants, wasps, cockrouches and any kind of bug or insects. you should beable to get it from any hardware store and homebase sell it in there indoor plants department
definitely not centipeeds they are grub like things(squidgy! - kind of like maggots but with legs!!) have no idea what they are but wish they would go! can you put photos on this forum? then you can all have a look!) tried searching through pictures on insect web sites but to no avail.........
