The blades on my ceramic hair straighteners are coverd in this horrible brown stuff and its melted on to the blades! Its Disgusting! The blades used to be nice and shiny black but now they are brown and dull. I dont know how to clean them, in the manual it says wipe with a damp cloth and ive tried scrubbing with a wetish cloth and only a tiny but comes off! I've tried scraping the brown stuff off but im worried about damaging the blades. How do I get this filth off? please help me. x
the brown stuff might be your hair dye,or more than likely hair products, scrubbing won't help as you will probably damage the blades, maybe when the blades are warm get a sponge with some mild shampoo on and clean them like that,if it won't work, ring up the company you got them from and ask them.
Yea I don't know why I use them because my hair just goes curly again an hour later lol Cheers for the advice but I found a site after I posted this thread and it said to use babywipes :| it only worked! silly me xXxx
