just do it how you feel it should be done. they,re your parents and they can see for themselves how well they have raised you. if you over do it ,they will know that its not really you. as long as the rooms tidy ,warm ,smells nice and that they can see that you,ve just touched it up a bit with a vase of flowers im sure they will feel comfy.
lils got the kettle on we,ll all have tea

Check that the mattress is comfy and also the pillows. Most people don't expect hotel standard extras, but do appreciate a comfortable night's sleep. We have some really good friends but avoid staying with them because the mattress on the sofa bed is so *@XYZ@!? lumpy!

STILL A LONG WAY TO GO TO GET ANOTHER GOLD STAR!!!

Emma@ its important to be yourself. All you really need to do is have the room clean, warm, and comfortable, and the bed fresh. and make sure to provide the number of pillows your parents would usually sleep on. I think this is very important. Also, if your parents will be sharing the family bathroom with you,its normally the done thing to leave clean sets of towels at the foot of their bed for their use. as you cant expect them to share your towels. Sometimes its a good idea to provide water by the bedside for drinking, but they are your parents, and would likely feel enough at home in your house, to get up and feel free to use the kitchen. After that add any little touches you think matter.
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you cry alone. If you enjoy something once,. Do it again. .
