I finished decorating my lounge couple of weeks back,but i goofed...

There are a few spots of oil based gloss paint on my carpet and there bugging me cause they're in doorways.Is there a way of removing them cause unfortunately they're now set solid and i should have cleaned them off while still fresh.

Any ideas???

Try using dry-cleaning solution, or even white spirit, test first in case it damages your carpet. If it works blot it then use carpet shampoo.

If not maybe you will have to paint over it in a shade that matches your carpet.

damp cloth over carpet and iron with warn not hot iron this softens the paint, then wipe with soft cloth and white spirit, and wash straight away with warm wate to remove the white spirit
