Long time no speak! I have been ill with a kidney infection but feeling much better now and back at work! However when I was off ill, I put a pair of trousers in the wash, pulled them out and realised I had left a tissue in the pocket! It is probably one of the most annoying things to do and get rid of so I was wondering if you guys had any smart tips as to how to get rid of it easily so I don't have to sit and pick it all off! I heard that you can put the offending item in the dryer with nylon netting and the tissue sticks to it but I'm not sure what nylon netting is? so if anyone knows what it is or knows any other means of de-tissuing then please do share! It would save my sanity! Thank you all!
poor you with a kidney infection...i sympathise..glad you are ok now...well emma you can but a lint roller..i know all good pet shops do them that you can rinse under water and reuse...or kleeneazy mail order catalogue do sticky mits..like wee glove and you pat it all round offending matter and then dispose of it..several in a pack.....hope you get sorted..mind you if you make the kids pick off tissue from their clother it might be a lesson learnt>>>
I have seen packs of tissues (you know handbag sized) that do NOT disintegrate if they go into the washing machine. The only annoying thing is I can't remember where I saw them, or which brand it was.....

STILL A LONG WAY TO GO TO GET ANOTHER GOLD STAR!!!
Yes those lint rollers Chaddy mentioned are good and as they get covered you tear a strip of and you have a new section. I got mine in a dry cleaning shop. i have a little machine, its for shaving wool bobbles, you know the little wool balls you get on woollen jumpers, It uses batteries, Got mine in the ETC. catologue, I think it would do the job.
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you cry alone. If you enjoy something once,. Do it again. .
The best thing for this, (brings your garment up like brand new and removes every speck) is sellotape wound round your hand and pressed onto the garment. Can take a little time depending on amount of lint, but definitely works.
I leave tisues in my pocket all the time, and screews, coins, keys, well you get the idea and its always when I dont check them that they go in the wash glad you are feeling better,
