when my machine is emptying the smell is horible i have cleaned the u bend and have used viniger inside the machine but nothing seems to get rid of the stench.please can some one help??

there must be something causing the stench...so you have to eliminate a few things...your u bend is ok and you have tried rinsing the machine and that has not helped...next try the filter as their may be something stuck in it..ie..old sock, money,hair clip .....you can also buy a washing machine cleaner to remove any build up of soap etc etc.....hope this helps

thanks where can i buy the cleaner i have looked in supermarket but can only find dishwasher cleaner.the machine is only 6 months
old but i will look for socks lol thanks again

If its only 6 months old, phone the company up & ask them to send someone out. Hope you get rid of the smell.

think we found the problem didn't know there was a filter in my machine lol and when i took it out there was hair clips in there and a lot of smelly fluff so cleaned it out and now it seems fine lol.

normally botom corner of the machine behind a flap. but sometimes you dont have one.

Don't think I have one in the washing machine, but there's one in my drier

Calgon is really good to use in the washing machine. keeps it fresh and clean.

Or you can use some dishwasher tablets in it to clean it out - I learnt that from Cuckoo
