firstly, i've got a jacquard bag which has a stain at the edge of the flap from overusage (daily use). is there any way to remove such a stain from the jacquard without destroying the jacquard as the bag means a lot to me.

additionally, one of those plastic bags with prints on them was left on the wood kitchen top for some time and over time, the ink from the print has transferred to the kitchen top. we've tried using lanolin, various kitchen cleaners, but nothing seems to work. the kitchen top is a laminated wood sort of finish i guess.

any help would be much appreciated! Smile

We've had the same problem with print coming off on work-tops, it does fade eventually but can't remember if it ever went completely. Sorry, thats not much help. Wink

1. I'd wash the bag with Woolite in the machine on handwash/no tumble.

2. I use the scraper I have for my ceramic hob, it's pretty non-abrasive.
