I was doing tea last night and left the spuds on ended up with a black pan and all the spuds stuck to the dottom of the pan any advice it is still in soak

Make a paste of bicarbonate of soda & water, leave for at least an hour, longer if possible, then rinse. Or sprinkle salt inthe pan, add a few drops of water leave for a while then scrub the pan. Good luck

or you could boil some rhubarbe in the pan!
(that would be a good use of that stuff!! )

To clean a burnt pan, stick some hot water and biological washing powder in, and soak it overnight. This is good for stuck on scrambled egg too. The enzymes eat the muck away!

fizzy water works great i allways burn my pans and use fizzy water and they always come up shiney

Aggie and Kims tip was to put coca cola in pot boil for a couple of minutes and then clean it with a sponge /cloth if there is still some burn left repeat and it brings pot up like new
