Just discovered some biro in rather large toddeler hight cirlces on one of my walls. Dont know how long its been there, any ideas on how to get it off? Its Black biro on a light cream walls! PLEASE HELP! :S The In-laws are coming VERY SOON!

What kind of decor do you have on the walls..ie.painted, wallpaper etc. If it's a painted surface try plain white toothpaste, lightly rubbing.

LEGEND! Yeah its painted... think the only plain white toothpaste we have is for kids... would that still be ok????

I shouldn't think a kids toothpaste would be any different...try it and see. I only suggested plain white as I'm unsure if the coloured toothpaste would stain the walls or not.

Or try dabbing with methylated spirits on an absorbent cloth.

You could try that 'magic' sponge, made I think by JML - it comes in a large piece and you cut off what you want, wet it and rub the stain. Most marks clean off really well.

(My OH came across one of my sponges which he thought was a 'magic' one, cut it up, and tried to use it - needless to say it was an ordinary sponge and didn't work - lol!)

A slice of white bread is supposed to be good at removing marks, though I'm not sure about biro.

Micro-cloths are good at removing stubborn marks too
