I have just put a wee permant hair colour in...brown to match my own natural shade..well no matter how careful I am I have a few specks on my ears nd side of my face..and my hands...I have tried everything to remove it ..soap wise and it looks dirty......you want to see my top!!!! which I keep special for this job!!
what takes hair colour of your skin?

Chaddy, I have always rubed in shampoo and then rinsed off about 10 minets latter.

I did the same once with black hair dye, and after trying everything I rubed in dish washing liquid and gently scrubed with a nail brush. Thats all I can sugest. I got a purminant ban from CQ by the way dont realy care.

Has it come off chady?

you could try alcohol, ie vodka, that may disperse it or something like nail varnish remover, on a bit of cottonwool, never dyed my hair so neither of the above may work, or they might!!

You need to buy some moustache bleach and dye it back with that.

Some milk on cotton wool takes it off, might sound silly but it does work. To prevent it I always rub a little bit of vaseline around my hairline and my ears first.

Karenjet, Yes that does work or you can rub a moist bar of soap round and it dose the same thing. I dint know about the milk will have to try that next time.

Cuc-koo I heard you got suspended....I left after all that happened with LL and I came to her defense.I felt let down to learn she was backstabbing me in a PM...as a mod we have access to read them...I would just not be bothered with all of that carry on....i enjoyed Shins nation as Shin is a lovely girl...but something happened with her and another member and Shin closed her forum down....I did not mention any names on QC bot I am sure they know I ment LL...I did not have a problem with any of the rest of the members...did your wife pass her test?

got any hair dye off my skin....but hubbys good Leeds Utd top has a few brown stains on it after a few washes...It is comming up to fathers day so I can buy him a new one...will keep all yopur tips for future reference..thanks

Hi chaddy, I didnt know Shins had closed? Not botherd about CQ forum or ban, it was getting out of hand on ther, Lorraine needs to watch her back. yes the wife passed her test I tryed to email you but I couldnt.

I sent an e-mail to Shin enquiring about her forum but she didn't reply, don't know what's going on there.

Jenny it seems such a shame that it's all ended up with us not knowing what's going on with all the other forums when we all used to chat happily on this forum!

I agree it did go a bit wrong....as you know i stood up for LL and Vernon was giving her a rough time..I replied back to him and said it was not a very nice way for a man to speak to a woman like that..he them PM me and was able to inform me that she had been giving me a slating behind my back on QC forum via PM's to other members...so you can as a mod go into a part and read some peoples PMs as well as your own......I was wondering how Vernon had been able to read them as he was not a mod...but it was a while later before I left that I discovered that vernon was not the nasty man I thought he was but a trusted friend of Lorraines and he had given her a lot of help and support when she was setting up QC forum..that is how he was able to read LL's pms.....I dont know exactly what happened between Shin and Lorraine..i think it an accident that shin suspended Lorraine,not intentional..shin closed her forum..its a pity as she was a nice girl and I enjpoyed her forum as we had a few different subjects to chat about..and it was the posts about the ghost stories that I replied to about having the strange goings on in the last flower shop I worked in that Sandy replied to telling me that family of hers had a paper shop there and had also strange goings on...i remembered that the florist was a butchers before and a paper shop before that.....aaggghhhh...I miss the chats and the friendships we made..and posting the pics of ourselves..what a hoot..nobody looked like I imagined them!!!! lol lol

Shin said she was just making some changes to her forum, hope it opens again, it was great on there. I also didn't know about reading other people's PMs on CQ, wouldn't bother reading them anyway, my attitude is that if they're slagging me off at least they're leaving someone else alone

It was great on the other forums when all the regulars were posting. I also think Shin may have accidently suspended Lorraine...after all she had put a notice on her forum saying that members who did not post after a certain length of time would be deleted, as Lorraine has also done on her forum. Anyway I hope Shin will open her forum again - I notice it does state on the link that it "will be offline for a while".
Going back to PMs...to my mind there's not much point in calling them Personal Messages if so many people on CQ can read everyone else's as well as their own! Also it's not a very nice feeling wondering if things are being said behind your back as was suggested when there was the problem with LL.

once i was dyed my hair,i used black and somehow i got it all over my forehead so i went to the chemist and asked then,he suggested i used some ash,from a cig mixed in with some water to form a paste,it did work,but also neat bleach works but i wouldn't suggest anyone uses that

I hope Shin is ok and her forum gets up and running again soon. anybody hears anything can you let me know as i always seem to be the last to know!!

That's what I thought Lynsey because it does say on CQ where you click on the page to send an email to another member that all emails can be seen by 'the administrators'. However Chaddy has indicated that PMs can be seen by the mods too...if this is the case then I think it should have been made clear to us that this happens and be stated on our Personal Messenger page. I have not sent or received many PMs, but I would never have dreamt that they could be seen by all the mods on CQ!

Cuc-koo I've got Shin's forum address, but I'm worried that if I put it on here it will just get deleted as the mods here always seem to delete links (or the whole thread might get deleted!). So I'm not sure how can I let you know it??? As already said above the forum is offline at the moment, but according to an email I received when it went offline, an email will be sent to inform all the members when it comes online again.

I know that lorraine let vernon read the offending PM's from LL(as far as I know) he told me if I did not believe him to go into admin and read them for myself..so I tried and did ask a few others how to do it..Cuk-koo i did ask you remember as you are brill with this puter stuff...well i predded buttons and was able to read some PM's but LL's were not there...the forum owner can read all Pm's.....I wont know if Shin will reopen her forum...I dont have her forum address anymore...I will have to wait till sandy comes back from her holiday as far as I know she has contact details
