It isn't a HCIYH subject but I was reading entries by Sandrina (your garden must be a delight and I hope you are not being annoyed by local animals now) and Biddy about Cornwall. This is where my relatives came to Australia from. One of them discovered gold in Victoria and his son moved to a mining town in Tasmania and the family thus became Tasmanian. It is funny really as I believe Cornish people to a certain extent have mining in their blood (tin? mines etc) from way back and also that the family went halfway across the world and found another beautiful little part of the world in Tasmania to replace the Cornwall they had left. English people do love Tasmania. I wonder if Cornwall being our ancestral home could touch my heart as Tasmania does. I would dearly love to see England. It must be part of me.
