Anyone there, I can't get into CQs, been trying all night and yet I can get into absolutely everything else. Daughter can access it, have I been thrown out?

Don't think we'd have chucked you out Dustbin. I haven't really been on recently as busy trying to make funeral arrangements, but maybe it's just a gremlin - a friend at work couldn't get on her fave forunm for 2 days but it was just her pc being silly. Hope you're back on soon.

Thank you Pauls a Pet, that's so kind, the funeral is arranged now, it is my uncle, he fostered me when I was a kid after my dad died so it's like losing a 2nd dad. Thanks for your kind thoughts, & everyone on CQ too.

I too was brought up by my Uncle (Mums Brother)
He was like my Dad to me. He passed away on 2nd June 1999. All these years now have gone by, but I still miss Him so very much.

My heart goes out to you...

Be strong, I know it's hard, but you must look after yourself too... He would want you to do that. xxx

My sympathies to you Pauls a Pet, your uncle sounds like a gem - as mine was. We're both lucky that we had such lovely men to look after us, but it's breaking my heart at the moment, .

That's understandable.

I do hope all goes as well as can be expected on the day.

Do remember that He needs you to be strong, and be so very grateful for what He's done for You. As you can imagine I am too. He made me the person I am Today. I'm proud of that as He would still be.

Thank you Pauls a Pet & Marguarita, the funeral went well, I'll go back to see my uncle's ashes put in the grave. He was a lovely man, I was lucky he was my uncle but wish he was still here.......at least he is out of any pain now. Thank you again.
