I have a silver ring which has suddenly become tarnished after I forgot to take it off when I went swimming at the weekend.
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the tarnish - it doesn't come off when I just rub it.

I always clean mine with one of those blue cloths impregnated with something that cleans silver. I'm not sure but I think they're made by Goddards who also make a liquid polish. Your supermarket should stock them, or if not, try a jewellers.

I have also heard that soaking silver in coke can help too.

Use silver dip - Goddards do one in a jar and you put your jewellery on the little plastic ladle thing and submerge it in the dip - when you lift it out, hey presto! tarnish is gone!
