i bought my self a new white cotton and lace blouse the other day and I as I was eating my salad i spilled some sweet chilli dipping sauce on the front...aaagghhh well i took it off and put it in the wash basket....and the stain went through to the short sleeve and of course dried overnight..I washed it as a white but had a big orange stain down the front and sleeve...steeped it in astonish..no luck.used a stain removing soap bar,no luck,spray on stain remover and re washed it ...no luck...asked my neighbour and she says persil non bio liquid..she gave me some in a wee ball thing and said to rub it in and leve for a while then steep it ...did that for an hour and washed it again and the stain went...so persil non bio is a very god product to remove stains.

Thanks for that chaddy, good tip. I washed some towels yesterat & put some cheap oxy powder(from the pound shop) in with the usual powder & it worked really well, so I'm pleased with that.

I've made a note of that tip Chaddy.

Whata stupid statement. I happen to know the person who started this topic has a beautiful home, A very beautiful well run home, Theres not anything boot camp as you call it, could teach this lady about stain removal. What she was doing was explaining the difficulty she had with one piticular stain and the solution.
