Keep all your dried food in sealed plastic containers, you can get some cedar to put in your cupboards as moths don't like the smell of it apparently, keep disinfecting the cupboards as well. Hope you get rid of them.
Definately keep all dried food in plastic containers with good lids. But what size of cupboard is it. I would have a good look round the cupboard, especially up in corners, make sure no little cocoon is lurking. As the moths must be coming from somewhere. Hope you get rid of them.
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you cry alone. If you enjoy something once,. Do it again. .
I read recently of 2 cases where moths were apparently already in the food - a batch of Quaker Oats was withdrawn because of moth pupae and larvae in the product, and a batch of Sainsbury's fruit & nut muesli was withdrawn due to moths in the product.
FB it is only a certain batch of Quaker Oats. I had another look on the Food Standards Agency website and it says "The product being withdrawn is: Quaker Oats with free measuring cup 1kg cartons Best Before 11/08/2007 221 (time stamp between 23:40 and 00:10 inclusive) W", and it also says "The product was distributed in the north of England to Tesco stores".
And for the Sainsbury's Fruit & Nut muesli it says "The product withdrawn is: Sainsbury’s Fruit & Nut Muesli 1.5kg bag Batch codes starting with 6213 xxx xxx".
