Well then… you seem to have succeeded in getting Wobbletastic banned for merely having a laugh. How many more fine forumers is it going to take before you gain a sense of humour? The one thing that you have succeeded in doing is turning Wobble into a martyr: well done, but was it really worth it?
I can speak for the regular members on this forum that the remarks made regarding cruelty to animals,degrading comments about woman drivers and woman in general to us is not having a laugh nor funny in any way...we do have so much fun on this forum and we certainly have a sence of humour.If wobbletastic thinks that his behaviour was just "merely having a laugh" then we are much better off without him and this forum is a better place without sick minded,degrading members like him.I agree with JAD that it was worth it.You are most welcome to join Wobbletastic,where ever he may be.

So taking a stand against cruelty against defenceless animals is a bit harsh then? It would seem that you haven't read any of the offending posts; I can't explain your comment otherwise. Having a laugh is ok - and we have lots of them here, believe me -, finding it 'funny' to (even in theory) feed animals baking soda and blow them up or shoot them for thrills ain't funny, though.

Fizzwizzle i promise you, we are far from harsh. Believe me we have another forum and you never met a bunch who can laugh, or take the Mickey out of ourselves like us. We dont even talk of cleaning all the time, but everything under the sun. and i mean everything. We love chatting to new people, Its the most welcoming forum you could imagine. But its hard to take posts that are nasty or abusive. Why cant everyone just chat and enjoy this forum. Instead of being nasty, be a part of it all. Its supposed to be a place to come and chat and make friends. Of course differences of opinion are welcome, it makes for good discussions, But differences of opinion, and nasty comments are two different things.

the regular members on here are also on another forum.....we all get on well and have so much fun discussing lots of different topics...cleaning may be our bond and we help each other out with any problems cleaning related,we inform each other of any new product be it good or not..if anyone has a problem in any area of their life we can support them and help with friendly advice.....we have learned from experience to deal with problem members and they are now delt with right away so as to keep the forums this and the other one a friendly place...and we do have a laugh
Yes, but I also spotted on the same thread that Unchained was giving his pennies worth in before this was said.

well spotted Shin and reported to us.. us not having a sense of humour...they dont really know us then...HCIYH a whole forum to do with cleaning...yes a whole forum of Kim and Aggie fans and people who take pride in their homes and love the show....and we can chat from anything from a stain to a sprain the latest cleaning product.....and "come ere" "there more" to this forum and trouble makers are not welcome.....
Its a little vindictive to actually post a whole conversation from another forum here, it just seems your happy to fuel the fires that have been created, and most likly have made the situation a whole lot worse.
Its not like the people having the conversation have insulted you personally and they are just having a bit of banter, and your doing exatly the same here talking about them behind thier back. It's 6 of one half a dozon of the other. The only difference is, that they are not posting conversations your having about them in their forum.
I know you want to resolve this but your not going about it in the right way and in doing so are being slightly hypocritical, before you remind me of what was said, I already know from posts you have made in the friends forum. It still doesn't make the way your going about it right tho.
Sandy and I were the ones who always invited open communication and we post on both Friends and HCIYH. Our posts are consistent. Other people may have different approaches; we're not all the same. Please do not make sweeping generalisations ('you', plural, as in all of us on the forum).
Right at this point in time, I regard this whole sorry episode as closed. Every one of us regulars has made clear the level of abuse/fun/ribbing they're happy to put up with/not put up with and the members overstepping that mark have been banned. Letting this drag on doesn't help anyone and I would like to thank you for the poll you put up for us - let's bring the community spirit back into this. Forums are there to have fun and switch off from the daily grind.

I just want to say that how childish of me to lower myself to there level by posting a few comments from the Friends forum because of the comment that SS made regarding a quote from the Friends forum. All I want to say is that if no one like talking about cleaning then way bother even giving your pennies worth in here.
I most certainly am not happy to fuel any fires nor am I vindictive. I just thought I should let the members here know why that was said on the Friends forum but like I said in the above post I should not have brought myself down to their level.
While I'm here might as well tell you. I have a small sty on my right eye. Any advice welcome, but dont suggest Cif, Dettol or bleach. Tried all those ,they dont work. Ant the nearest I've ever been to a pig is when I've had pork on me plate for my dinner.
