Can anyone help my roof leaked earlier this year and went down behind the kitchen presses and I can't fet the smell of damp out of the presses. Ihave washed them out lots of times and have also tried leaving the doors open to no avail has anyone got any suggestions please?

Sorry i should have said that they are kitchen cupboards. My brain is fried trying to get rid of the smell of damp , its there since May and its driving me mad. Thank you Sizzler and Fatbird for your replys. This is all very new to me.

Seems to me you need some
kind of heat to dry it up.

Hopefullly you will get much
better advice than this.

Thanks anniejd, I put the central heating on in the evening but I thinkI'll have to leave it on longer and see if it makes a differance

Tobs,try the odd blast of hairdryer,
don't overdo it and burn the dryer out.
Perhaps you have a fan heater,that would
be much safer I should think.
