Hi, I have a lovely colour of pink mould Confused growing on the clear silicone sealant & on a clear strip that pulls out from underneath the shower door frame. It is only in these two places.

I have tried bleach & scrubbing but it is not comming off.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

Chez (a pink fan)

Morrisons own bleach/mildew remover is great, try that if you have a Morrisons near you.

I bought my first bottle of Cilit Bang, and it is absolutely fantastic in the kitchen on grease or in the bathroom to get rid of all that scum and pink stuff...brilliant well worth the money and it was effortless in the shower. Big Grin

i thought that stuff was body fats that get washed off your body. normal bathroom spray will clean it off.

I think cillet bang should shift it. Spray it on and leave it for a bit, should come off. If that doesnt shift it im not sure what will

Dettol or Astonish mildew and mould removers are great.
I start at the top of tiles, spray and let it run down the grout, leave for half hour or so and simply showere off. Wink

As I was going to use my sisters shower, she explained that she is going to have to remodel it because she doesn't know what that pink color is in there. I says it's soap scum and all you need to do is clean. Then of course I offered to do it and WA LA good as new.

That's true, she would and I would do it because she doesn't notice the scum collecting. I think that she thinks that her scum is clean because she surely thinks that her poop doesn't stink.

I do rate Cillit Bang but I find the new Domestos 'Grot Buster' bleach is really good on manky bathrooms.
