Have you got any brown paper handy? Like parcel wrapping paper?
I remember reading somewhere that if you put it over the wax and iron over it, it will remove the wax. I havent tried it personaly but it apparantly works.

Put an icecube in a cloth and place on the wax to harden it, easier to pick it off.

I'm sorry about the burnt carpet, Dont know what you can do about that, except lie and look as innocent as you can. Wink I even had experience of that. Son left hot iron on brand new carpet. Had a blue fit which didn't help. In the end we cut a piece to fit, cut out the burn and taped new piece in. But for Gods sake dont try that, you could end up in even more trouble. Wink

Good job they didn't get us shut down like they wanted, eh?! Big Grin I prefer Leila's ice cube tip for getting wax off, although that's probably 'cos I don't like ironing! Big Grin

Can I just say, we are staying away from this place now, but please remove Sizzler from that list.
She may be a friend of ours but she is really not involved in any of this, neither is Hunny_Bunny or Disco.
Thankyou.

And we've moved on, can't you?

I do understand where your coming from Chaddy, but i took Antonia's post as genuine and answered it as such. I'm always willing to forgive and forget and give people a second chance. And I think I was right, After reading Megzie's post it wasen't rude or cheeky but explained they have moved on. and have asked us to do the same, I honestly believe we should. I say lets drop this fued now, Nip it in the bud and move on. We are mature, they are young, words have been said, but no real harm has been done. Forgive and forget, and if one of them genuinely wants to chat to me about anything I'll chat back to them. Thats just me.

well after reading the post they had made on the reality forum about us you can understand why I was so suspicious...but as sandy said we are mature and we can move on..if anyone does need help on a cleaning matter then no better place to ask....This is a good forum, but we not stand for any bad/childish behaviour...i hope they have learned a lesson....

I was a bit suspicious of her post after what has been going on around here, but i answered anyway as it was cleaning related and i really thought it was genuine. No harm done though. And sizzler is genuine honest, i think she is friendly with everyone. I just want this forum back to how it used to be, i don't like the bad athmosphere Frown
