Can someone please suggest how I get dried blood off upholstery, I have tried Vanish and 2001 carpet cleaner as the material is quite heavy, neither worked.

Whatever you try, don't use hot water, only warm. Hot water will set the stain.

I used the cold water and salt solution today and it works great. Saved me a trip to supermarket to get chemicals. Thank you Wink

Hmmm where did all this blood come from, if you don't mind me saying; it all sounds a bit sinister!

Whenever there's blood around I usually rub it with water and salt and/or leave it to soak in abucket of warm water and salt, usually before it's been there for too long (ie. a day) then when I put it in the washing machine put a handful of soda crystals/socium bicarbonate in with it and check to see how it is after.

Scary, but in normality it can be a "normal" occurance!! Big Grin
Obviously, as you cannot put it in the machine, you cannot try BIO-TEX!! However, I have never tried to just rub it on! So who knows?? Big Grin

Wash the worst of it away with the shower, and then use a mop for the remaining bits... just like in films! Smile
