My husband accidently put the table protecter cover upside down on the table. I now have an imprint of the circular pattern on my veneer table. It's a bit like glue. I have tried allsorts even butane lighter fuel which someone recommended. Can any one please suggest anything else without scatching or damaging my table. Thank you

This is a dodgy one, I think your best bet would be to take the table to a specialist for repair. Have a look in your Yellow Pages. Good luck!

Tried that and they said it would be cheaper for me to buy a new table!!!

This is risky but you could try a drop of paint thiners on a cloth dab it on a small area then rince off with soapy water. If all elce fails you could always cover it with a table cloth, sorry cant think of anything else.

I remember someone using cigarette ash and rubbing it into the burn/scorch mark.....thats all I remember..oh heck menopausal me and my memory
