One of the things that I always loved about Channel 4, and was continued for many a year on FilmFour, was the ability to show rare films and indie films on tv. Some of those films had not, for one reason or another, been released in the UK but they were shown anyway, as the channel rightly realised that quality does not automatically come with extensive accessibility when it comes to film. Some great films are enver seen, whilst some quite shockingly bad ones are easy to be seen by all.

So I ask if FilmFour would consider buying "Lovers, Liars and Lunatics" for broadcast. This film is written, directed and stars Amber Benson and is a dark comedy/thriller. It was entirely independantly financed with no help from studios. At the moment, the film is only available through the film's website but I have seen the film and I personally feel it deserves a far bigger audience.

So I think that FilmFour should buy up this film for broadcast as I feel that good films, and good talent, deserves to be recognised and not dimissed merely because their work is not in the mainstream.

I'd totally wanna see that. I'm a huge Buffy fan and I'm always interested in seeing other stuff with the cast members. I saw Chance and thought it was a fantastic film. Film4 should buy LL&L.

Oh yes ! C4 / Film 4 should go for both Chance and Lovers, Liars and Lunatics, both films deserve to get a much bigger exposure. What are they waiting for ?
