I live in a area where we can't get sky or cable, i used to always subscribe to film four when it was on ITV Digital.

Currently channel 4 is using 3 streams on DTT to transmit LIVE big brother coverage.

Wouldn't it make sense after big brother finishes to put Film Four on one of them streams, using the top up tv system for payment and encryption.

If you do I will sign up straight away, please make this happen.

I totally agree with this suggestion.

Channel 4 currently have an E4 +1 and a More4 +1 channel. One of these could easily be used for Film 4.

they should just give it to us for free. It still has commercials so why dont we get it for nothing??

There has been loads of talk about Film Four coming to Freeview (not Top Up). Apparently Channel4 are thinking about it now. I heard they want all Channel4 channels to be 100% free to air, thats why E4 and More4 came to freeview. It is likely Film Four would replace More4 + 1 on Freeview.
