contrary to a filmfour presenter "Heaven can wait" (1978)is not a remake of "Heaven can wait" (1943). the 1978 version is about an american footballer Warren Beatty who goes body swapping from haven whilst the 1943 version is about Henry Van Cleve being turned away from the gates of hell. both worth a look but not the same at all.
Heaven Can Wait (warren beatty version) is a remake though, of here comes mr jordan made in 1941. This is why james mason's character is called mr jordan. The original starred robert montgomery and claude rains and is not bad either. Just so you know!
