Some I would like to see screened on F4 in the future (followed by director's name):
WARM WATER UNDER A RED BRIDGE (Shohei Immamura) PISTOL OPERA (Seijun Suzuki) Any R.W. Fassbinder (particularly MARTHA and BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ) NO WAY HOME (Buddy Giovinazzo) RABID DOGS (Mario Bava) POINT BLANK (John Boorman) LA VIE NOUVELLE (Phillipe Grandrieux) THE PASSENGER (Michelangelo Antonioni) 8 WOMEN (Francois Ozon) ALL OR NOTHING (Mike Leigh) GUNCRAZY (Joseph H. La Regle du Jeu (Renoir)?? (Pretty please...) Boudu Saved From Drowning (Renoir)? Pierrot le Fou (Godard)?? L'Atlante (Vigo)?? Le Samourai (Melville) I'd love to see some of these on the channel...
Also, what about Luc Besson's longer cut of Leon with the extra 24 minutes? That would be very, very nice
h (still a subscriber -- just -- tho' still considering position after FFWorld fiasco :growl: )

Yep, there are even one or two there I haven't seen. Shame I'm not a subscriber any more...
Thank you for your suggestions - we will definitely be showing Invincible and 8 Women in the future, and La Regle du Jeu is also high on the list. We will keep you updated with other future titles of interest.
Looking forward to several of the films on that list ...
What I'd also like to see is a season of the early Films on Four - My Beautiful Laundrette and the one about the girls who supported Spurs (can't remember the name of that one), for instance - 20+ years on it'd be good to see if they still stand up
Wow from what i can see one foreign language film - where are all the films that are supposedly now included on the normal scheduling like we were promised at the demise of World - lies?
Nver mind at least I dont subscribe anymore, but would if World comes back

Well I'm glad I dropped my subscription. Bring back FFW and FFE and you've got my money and many hundreds of others as well.
Any chance of your screening the complete '1900' even if you have to split it over two evenings? It's only been on TV once many years ago and as far as I know it is not available on DVD. This is really what Filmfour should be doing: unearthing the rareties, not showing popular films of the last few years.
What about a season of John Water's films, especially his earlier movies like Pink Flamingos and Female Trouble. I can't believe F4 hasn't shown them before. Early Almodovar such as Dark Habits and Labyrinth of Passion. Also his film Kika seems to be unavailable (i havent seen it for years). Dario Argento's Four Flies on Grey Velvet. Rosemary's Killer (aka The Prowler) and Superstition were two horror movies i saw on the video pre the Video Recordings Act, and it would be great to see them again. Also, Sam Fuller's White Dog, Heaven's Gate, Altman's 3 Women, The Silent Partner.
I would love to see a season of mopar movies, titles like:
Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry Two Lane Blacktop Vanishing Point Gumball Rally Gone In Sixty Seconds (Seventies)

Echo the sentiments about Greenaway films. The Cook, the thief, the wife the lover please.
frankly like many others I am considering whether to continue my subscription. film 4 is no longer the home of the best of World cinema. Instead it seems to consist of endless repeats. Most people have videos after all.I would like to see more features n specific classic directors. Renoir Bergman,Ozu,Tarkovsky Wadja for example. Or features on the cinematic traditions of specific countries. Would make a change from constant reruns of trainspoting
Thank you for your post. La Regle du jeu will be on the channel at the beginning of next year, we have Bergman films in October, November and December, and will be playing more from our extensive catalogue of his films next year. Solaris plays in November. We will be celebrating Ozu's centenary with a season of his films in December. In addition, in October and November, we will be showing the recently restored version of The Leopard. Thank you for your suggestions and if you have more, please let us know.
