Many thanks for your kind response re American Hot Wax & Looking For An Echo. I will just have to keep hoping. In a similar vein (containing music from waaaaaaaay back). 'My Boyfriends Back' and another one titled 'Shag'. Are you able to plan for these please? Best regards.

You have made a mistake in your September previews. You have captioned the Torn Curtain clip as Frenzy and vice versa.

Is there a possibility that we may get to see Ken Loach's brilliant 'Black Jack' (1979)..? I think it is the one overlooked gem in his body of work and the last time it was shown was back in 1983 on ITV at about 3am. This film deserves a restoration.
Any response to this would be greatly appreciated.

Would be great to see some films by Peter Brook, surely one of the greatest British directors..?
I'd especially love to see "Tell me lies" 1968 (aka. "US"), as I don't think this is available on DVD/VHS.

Second that. Way of life that has gone now: it ought to be as well-known as 'The Titfield Thunderbolt': in some ways it is better than that, because far less sentimental.

LIVING APART TOGETHER. C.1983
B A Robertson.
This film has an excellent soundtrack as well as being a decent film. Haven't seen it on Channel 4/Film4 for some time.

Another vote for LIving Apart Together.
I taped it when it was first shown but, surprise, surprise, my wife then used the tape so I've only got the first 30 minutes or so.
Well scripted and acted wiith song lyrics by BA Robertson, it is well past the time for a repeat.
So,come on, Channel 4, please repeat this!
