Will you be showing the Russian film Night Watch again - I started watching it when you showed it last year, but didn't last until the end

Many thanks for your post - we will definitely be showing the film again and more exact times and dates will follow - not to be confused with Nightwatch, the Ewan McGregor film we are showing tomorrow night as part of our Saturday Night Shocks strand.

How about showing the Danish original Nightwatch, of which the Ewan McGregor film is a remake?
Also I'd like Film4 to put the previews on on the mornings again, I always enjoyed watching them having breakfast before the start of every month.

How about showing more films that aren't available on DVD? Such as;
Taste Of Fear (1961 Hammer) No Surrender (1985 Film Four International)
Also, how about having a two hour slot, maybe once a week, where you show a film uninterrupted? Perhaps you could do it in the middle of the night when the advertisers aren't watching.

Mad Max series would be nice. Stephen King's The Stand
how about some more anime films / repeats from ghibli? don't know if you shown it, but I would like to see Akira by Katsuhiro Otomo.
dawn of the dead, day of the dead, night of the zombies, zombie (aka zombie 2), Demons. originals of course.
12 monkeys, six-string samurai, L eDernier Combat, and finally Delicatessen.
(I do like my post-apocalyptic films)
would be nice to see even a couple of these on. thanks.

You mentioned that you may be showing the Russian film Nightwatch again - do you know when this might be? How far in advance do you schedule? Thanks

The original list was posted in 03!!
There are NINE pages, and I can't be asked to trawl through to see whether there is an updated list or not!!!
Can you lock a post with an updated list?
My vote for a film to be shown is 'SANKOFA!'

Any chance of Film4 showing Peter Hall's 'Akenfield' please?
It's a long time since it last appeared on TV and it was apparently watched by 14m viewers then.
'Return to Akenfield' was shown by BBC4 recently, and there's been a lot of interest following the 2006 'Return to Akenfield' book.

Many thanks for your various posts - unfortunately we don't have rights to Slam, or to Akenfield, so won't be showing either title. We will definitely be showing the Ghibli films again and will update you when there are more precise dates and times. The FilmFour ad you have seen is primarily for FilmFour Productions and although those films will all screen on Film4 Channel in the future, there are no dates set at present.
