THE CORE has been screened twice on Film 4 this week, both broadcasts cropped to 1.78:1 from the original 2.35:1. Since the film has been screened many times before at the original ratio, why was this 'mistake' allowed to happen twice?
I asked about this in another thread, but the question was (cough!) 'overlooked'. So I thought I'd ask again...

I do. But this is really about why the film was suddenly screened at 1.78:1, when it's been broadcast many times across the C4 spectrum at the original 2.35:1.
