No, no, no. Please don't show this. You will show it 16:9 with the top and bottom cut off. Leave it to BBC1, who show even rubbish films like this in its correct aspect ratio. Letting BBC show it is the only way we'll see what the director Jimmy Sangster intended - you can't buy it at the moment, because the boxed set version has been crudely cropped to 16:9. But there is a ray of hope: The brilliant, brilliant Network DVD company has released 'Countess Dracula' and 'Twins of Evil', so perhaps... hey, I've just thought of a great slogan for Network: 'Passionate About Film': after all, it's going begging.
