it's too much fun to care about what other people think.

(not a criticism but you do realise that it probably wouldn't be over 6 pages if you managed to post everything you wanted to say in one post rather than 4 simultaneous ones...?)
(I keep getting confused about who's posting!)

I remembered my favourite line last night (while watching Derren Brown, mind control or what?) or at least the gist of it anyway.

Guy: (to new anaesthetist) Your wife's at the front desk, she's brought the rest of your beard.

Maybe we're married and both posting without the other one realising...a bit like that Pina Colada song.

Pina Colada song? Is that another husband/wife in-thing?
I completely missed that quote - must've been laughing too much.

My favourite quote was the one about the coma race. Had me in stitches

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons because, to them, you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup

It's a song from the late 70s where a bored husband answers a personal ad only to find it had been placed by his bored wife. As CaptainBritain says, it's a great song (although I fear that may have been a trap...) It's by that well known artiste, Rupert Holmes. I've never met anyone called Rupert in real life.

Didn't he write that biography of Coleridge?

I think he's a mystery writer.
As in the genre.

You've lost me now...which probably answers the working class question. I used to know someone called Quentin, though.

hurrah finally got to watch ep1 last night - definitely worth the wait. it's BRILLIANT!

slightly freaked by the amount of different threads on here since thurs tho - never going to have time to check them all out!

ah my mac obsession is back in full force. never had suck a ridiculous girly crush on a star before. maybe he's an alien who somehow releases magic pheremones through the tv that makes otherwise perfectly sane women fall at his feet. maybe.

i think the dream sequences are a bit to Scrubs for me, and didn't really enjoy them that much. Also, I never really liked Mac in the 1st serious, as I found him a bit boring and not cool, but Green Wing without him, is just not Green Wing!! I did actually miss him in it, as the whole of series one is held together by him and Guy, so umm, yeah- I like Mac now. Guy is still the best and Alan is hilarious, as always.

guy has some great lines but he's just far too slimey for me to take a liking to. but like all of the characters, he's essential to the magical mix that is green wing.

why does friday have to be so far away?!
