It's a good day though for demented dwarf killers Joanna and Dr Statham (Pippa Haywood and Mark Heap) who - after a meltdown of paranoia and hot coffee enemas - are amazed that they seem to have got away with their hideous crime.
Their natural reaction, of course, is to go on a rampage of bad behaviour, convinced they're now above the law.
And it's an even better day for Caroline Todd (Tamsin Greig), who gets no fewer than three proposals. What on earth is this girl's secret? Guy is even moved to write I Love You on a steamy bathroom mirror.
Unbelievable as it sounds, for once, he's not referring to himself.

My metro says there'll be tears for Mac-lovers. It also says he takes out a restraining order against Sue. I have a theory that she'll end up accidentally killing him and the funeral will be his Can barely do my work today, I'm desperate for tonight but also not cos I know I'll be in floods if/when something bad happens to Mac!!!!!
Yeah, well... Highlight to read this: Apparently, the funeral is almost definitely Angela's. It says so a couple of pages back. ALMOST DEFINITELY, REMEMBER! Looking at some of the pages, and threads, I think a lot of people will be pleased.
But then would we be in tears? I think something bad is definitely going to happen to him, and worse than Caroline choosing Guy over him (which I also think may happen - I'm a pessimist!)
I know there will be a lot of people who WON'T be pleased, I'm just saying if you look at the last few pages of the'Shag, marry and push off a cliff' game, there will be most of the people from there who will be cheering. I personally don't particularly want her to die either, but I wasn't the one who came up with the information. I just brought it to the front.
I don't know, lillylou - they could have a ghost Mac, maybe only Guy can see him - in a Randell & Hopkirk style. Or, to continue the Sue virgin birth/nativity theme Mac could be the arcangel?

I am at school in an IT lesson and I couldn't keep away from the forums.. I also read the Metro and the little spoiler in there as only increased my excitement! I will be moping around on Saturday since it will be finished but I think I will have to watch all the repeats

He is one of my fave characters, not only cause he is played by the lovely JRT, he can't die! I think I will go and get the box of tissues now though, just in case.
Previously Metro have said they they only half an hour episode in their preview tape......maybe there is more to come. Can anyone type the full synopsis?

I think we have to brace ourselves for the possibility of Mac dying, I really do - I don't know why, cos it would seem to be far too much of a real-life, non-Green Wing thing to have happen, but I just have a really bad feeling about tonight's episode!

Oh dear fellow carmac shippers...i have a horrible feeling we will be crying and screaming into our GW style scrubs tonight....i am beginning to agree that Mac may be riding up to the big surgical theatre in the sky. I mean that explains the funeral, and also the review above about us having tears, and also kinda narrows down caroline's possibilities. HOWEVER, i am hoping that the banana kiss (if it is still gonna happen) may be a reunion of sorts, possibly at xmas if they have filmed bits already....) Well we only have 6h36 mins to wait.....!
No no no NO under no circumstances should mac die!!!!! Thats an outrageous proposal how could anyone consider killing off the wonderful, beautiful damn right amazing mac?? Besides surely the cliffhanger is going to involve caroline and her decision between mac and guy and if mac's dead then there's not much of a decision involved really!
