Ok i just re-read the gossip on channel4 website about a reporter being on set and there's tension in the air as there is a death in the series....and "it's big!"....now i am REALLY WORRIED!! And i'm getting even more worked up......[yes i am sad replying to my own post but i'm getting paranoid!]

It's not fair! The only thing that matters is that it is clear that mac and caroline won't be together due to either death/caroline's stupid...STUPID choice of guy over him. what to do????????????

This is all really quite terrible news Not only will we have to mourn the loss of the greatest TV programmes ever to grace our screens filling our Friday's (and most nights inbetween watching the repeats) with joy and laughter but we are currently facing the potential loss of one of the foundation stones of our meriment and general provoker of lust - this is indeed a sad day

Okay...I will prepare to be shot again...I dont particularly think that Mac and Caroline should be together- I dunno! theyre really great for each other, but Guy is trying so hard! oh but I can't and WON'T deal with Mac dying...yes, I am that pathetic...

To be honest [altho i am a carmac shipper at heart] Guy is a good second place so i would not mind a caroguy ending.....HOWEVER it MUST be for a bloody good reason....only mac's demise is a good enuf reason and HE CANNOT DIE OR THE WORLD WILL SPIN OFF ITS AXIS AND GO PLUNGING INTO THE SUN....AARRRGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

OK I feel that complete denial is the best way to get us through this - considering we have to wait an extra hour due to bloody big brother. Killing mac would be cruel and mean and horrible and as previously said the door has been left open for a third series and mac is very much a central character and killing him would completley change the dynamics of the show.

Please someone agree with me or I may cry.

it would be tooo sad!! at least at the end of the last series it was quite funny because guy had no reason to live and we all knew that they would be ok, but death is in no way shape or form funny so i dont think it would be appropriate for the comic delights of greenwing. okok the green man death was funny but we hadnt formed a 2year attachment to him...

Hmm agreed...denial is the only way to get through these last few hours...plus as Oli Chris has seemed so keen for a new series Mac MUST be ok!! There you go...even if he does die i will ignore it and live in the knowledge that i obviously watched the silly "joke" ending and that his beautiful mane will forever be caroline's....or mine if necessary [obviously will have to fight all JRT fans for it]! The end!

It must be Guy's new pet rat which would explain why they are the only two at the funeral.

And there is the Christmas episode to get through - if they kill Mac off then the ratings at Christmas will plunge as we WILL ALL boycott it.
