Add what you think is most likely to happen in the final(???) episode of green wing here,and when the xmas special finally gets here,we will see who was closest.
Im going with the the theory that sue white or alan and joanna switched mac's results,or made some new ones.

I think episode 8 was Caroline's dream , although I wont even try and guess what happens when she really 'wakes up'.

i cant deside there is so many possibilites the one we have come up with is

1 the last 10 mins is guy day dreaming

2 sue faked his results for pay back or to stop him meting caroline

3 joanna and statham switch the result while on there rapage.

4the results are really his dads unlikey but this is green wing.

5 the results are one of his patients and he has to tell them that they are dieing.

6 there was his docter result and mac is his docter.

7 angerla faked the result for payment to sue for getting to leave that day.

8 they are his results (unlikely)

the funeral

1 for joanna (unlikely)

2 for mac (unlikely)

3 statham (unlikely)

4 angerla (most likely)

5 yoyo man (possible)

6 docter sue tapered with his breaks (possible but unlikely)

7 the office girl i cant remember her name (unlikely)

8 someone we dont even know yet

the wedding

1 guy and caroline (most likely)

2 joanna and stathum (possible)

3 martin and the office girl (unlikely)

4 sue and guy (hilarous)

5 caroline and mac (heaven)

6 angerla and irish guy or rich guy.

7 guy and holly (if guy is the father of mekenzie dad)

there is also the possiblite of at the start guy and caroline walking down the corrider and caroline say it was a moment of weekness and she didnt mean it. so they are not getting married.

there is the possibility of caroline and guy getting married and mac letting her go but finding out he is fine and having to get to the church in time to stop it. which is my fav. they do it in a way we no he is fine but wondering if he will find out in time to stop the wedding. showing guy donesnt relly want to go thought with it but he still is as it gone to far to stop now. caroline want mac but thinks he wont step up so she might as well marry guy. mac leting her go because he no there is no futher. so we are sat on the edge of our seat wondering will he find out or will one of them stop it in time. i like the thought of a fight scene. and the happy ending.

also theres a whos the father scene to holly baby

and martin meting his dad.

Well some of those theories sound really brilliant especially the one about Mac running in to stop the wedding. However, I have consulted my Magic 8 Ball to see what the future actually holds.
I asked it: Will Mac and Caro end up together? ARE YOU KIDDING?
Will Caro marry Guy then? YOU CAN COUNT ON IT
Will Mac die? YES

As the Magic 8 Ball has already told me that I am destined to marry David Tennant, there is no way these predictions can be wrong! Looks like destiny is agin us, caromac fans!

How can u b marrying David tennant I am - joke obviously. Good to have all the theories up, am still quite convinced sue switched the records, that the funeral is karens/angelas, and love idea of Mac coming in after funeral service (in wet shirt in Aragorn way as demonstrated in the two towers), and declaring that he is not dead, that he loves caro, Mac and Guy then have a huge Bridget Jones like fight. Guy ends up with sue, Joanna and Alan get married, with Boyce as the bridesmaid - whilst at the wedding Mac finally proposes to caro - they ride of into the sunset (whilst waterloo sunset is playing.) Plus martin moves in with his dad who some how now owns a dance school and Martin realizing that he no longer wants to be a doctor decides to pursue a career in dance - the next Wayne sleep. Well what do you think?

there is soooooooo much that could happen but i am really liking the idea (not just cos it means mac wont die, but because it sounds like it makes sense) that the last ep was carolines dream, i dunno why!

but if not, then mac is dying - there is no way that those results were for anyone but him.

and also, i seriously doubt that guy would marry holly just because of mackenzine...however i do believe that he is the father.

i doo like the idea that it stars with guy and caroline getting married and with mac running down the isle like "NOOOO CAROLINE! I LOVE YOU" a tad cliche, but what the hell!

i was thinging about if mac does die. and his funeral is in the first 5 mins. what could happen in the next 1h 25 mins. it dont think it could work.

i think he will either die at the end, or it will just be assumed that he does after the ep finishes

this is green wing if they want us thinking that he would die later i think they would of saved it for the last episode. he cant die it just doesnt make sence

but then what would the episode be about!? most GW fans watched the last episode to see the caromac situation develop. I agree with traceygirl2 that if mac does indeed die, there would be nothing spectacular for the xmas episode to be based on?!

That article just says she appeared in Green Wing, doesn't say it was as a bridesmaid!

I certainly hope they come up with a happy ending for Caro and Mac as per Tracey or Jemma's ideas. Otherwise I don't want to see it. Who the heck wants to feel as miserable as we felt on 19th May when it is Christmas? Let's hope they look at this forum and see all the misery they've caused!
Caro is our Bridget and I can't accept that even if Mac didn't show she would just agree to marry the first guy (!) that turned up. Also that stuff she said about it being so easy to deceive when you are trusted (as if she had been manipulating Mac) was so horrible it would just make us not care about her! If it was true which it can't be!

after she said that i thought she was playing a trick on guy. but then there is no way that would be funny. but that statment doesnt quite ring true. i cant put my finger on it. maybe we are just looking to close at everything. after her and macs first kiss she has had no intressed in guy (psyical.) the only time she has ever kissed him is when she is drunk. on in the last episode because he is saying what she want to here. she had no intrest in him untill he asked her to marry him. it seems a little strange.


a really wakky idea
maybe after they cut from the docter office mac realised the results were fake and guy had done it. then when they cut to mac holding his phone he had rang caroline and told what guy had done. she was holding her phone. and this is some plan mac and caroline have come up with to get him back. him letting go of the balloon is him letting go of his friendship to guy.

the stuff about it being so easy to deceive when your trusted i thought seem more pointed towards guy than mac.

The bridesmaid with her dark eyes and dark hair reminds of two people in Green Wing.

1. Like a young Caro obviously a bit rounder and cuter. Perhaps she is her niece - the daughter of her sister who lives in a tower block in East London with rescue pigs, or:
