I agree about the accent scene. Though I feel the need to point out that the accent was in fact Geordie, originating in the vicinity of the river Tyne, a fair bit North and East of Manchester. Excellently executed accents they were too.
I thought the holdy hands bit was so sweet. I thought a few eps back when Caroline couldn't think of what to write in the card and Mac offered to let her share his idea and she said. "Oh, I love you." And Mac just sorta smiled and said "Love you too." It was so sweet, you could tell they both really meant it and weren't just saying it.

I'm sure that Mac loves Caroline - just sitting smiling at her is a fair indication that he's got it bad, but I'm starting to have doubts as to whether Caroline is similarly smitten, she's not exactly being too encouraging at the moment.

But then the writers wouldn't be able to torture us any more to be honest, it would be a relief to know this is going to turn out alright, but then wheres the dramatic tension for the next 5 episodes..

Any one noticed- in series 2 episode 3 when Mac is talking to caroline in the canteen about them getting their wires crossed that they are both struggling not to corpse really badly- julian lets it slip in as a little smile here and there when he's talking- even though his dialogue is deadly serious.

1) the caromac hand-holding thing on the bench, it was just so sweet and innocent!
2) (sorry to all the caromac kids) but guy walking through the smoke, he looked so manly and aaaaaah i loved it! it was so cute how caro bit her lip and they looked at each other ahhhh!

Does anyone not think that in EP9 S1 when Mac says to Guy “so aren’t you gonna miss me then?” the look on Guy’s face is soooo sweet?? He’s thinking “of course I am” but he could never actually admit that so he replies with “f**k off” instead. Awwww…
The entire scene goes down in history as one of my favourites - it sums up their entire relationship perfectly. We definitely didn’t get to see enough of that in the second series!!
i LOVE the finger linking bit on teh bench. it is just so sweet and so tender. and they expression on his face while he is smiling at her is just so dreamy and totally absorbed by her... aawwww! he's so cute!

Oh God! I'd almost forgotten about that bit. Just the way he says it, and she turns and looks at him, and it's that magic they have... And then he goes and jumps over a tble on the way out for joy! Bless him!
