sue is just being sarcastic, MAC IS NOT DEAD!!! it's not joanna's because martin would be sad, it's not karen's because why would the drs be there? it could be angela's, but where is mac if it is?

i think that the writers will have come up with some ingenious ending and that if we find out that mac isnt dead or going to die, or if this seems to be the case then they will throw something totally different at us which will result in saddness anyway. itll probably be something totally unexpected but when we know the outcome everything will probably make sense.

I CAN'T believe they'd let his character die! They'd loose too many Mac fans from the program (that's if there is another series?!) I reckon he's been given the results and (if we do get a new series) the first few episodes will be all rallying round him, feeling bad etc, then I think it'll come to light that the results are incorrect, and he may keep it to himself for a while and milk it a bit
I'm a firm believer that Mac does not die. He will come back and snatch Caroline from Guy's clutches

i dont think mac is going to die there is to many other possibilites. the writer wouldnt of left it open to with so many if they werent going to use one of them
We had a total of no less than FIVE possible 'deaths' at the end of episode eight; it could be any one of them...Karen, Mac, Joanna, Martin and Alan...it's just that because Mac's was such a shock and you didn't expect anything to happen to the Golden Boy that his stuck in your mind.
I think it is a deleted scene , why would the ever clever and sly writers allow a big spoiler like this? They are only doing it to wind us up , the little minxes

i dont think they will kill mac off as they want to sell copys of the dvd. i dont no about anyone else but at the end of the episode 8 i was left feeling very downhearted. even thow i loved the second series i dont think i could watch it over and over again if mac was going to die. what is the point of depressing your. so i think the next episode has to be very uplifting and funny.
I think it will be Angela's funeral, i found another web site where they have been looking into it properly and are convinced it is Angela after she left the hospital for Hollywood,they seem to have got there information from a reliable source!
