Again, that was in the episode I missed – what was the buzzer thing about??

Michelle Gomz really is a comedy genius. As was said in the DVD commentary she does everything with a flourish.

basically Sue had a buzzer that sounded like a car horn. so when Holly spoke to her and anything she didn't like, she pressed it. e.g me and mac had a long relationship....so Sue pressed the buzzer.
At the end, Sue got out another button pressing thing and when she pressed it, a moving screen behind her said; f*** off.

yeah i never noticed it before but when i got my series 1 DVD it was like my head bobbing about all over the place from not knowing who to look at lol. Also i don't think oliver chris gets enough recognition either...he's too much of a pretty boy for me but he's a handsome chap none the less!!

i was watching Bridget Jones 2 yesterday and realised oliver is in that as the director or something before the mark daniel fight! and then after. neva realised that before. gw has infected my mind to look for the most random things!

There was an awful lot of talk about Guy on this forum a while back but I think all the *** - loving has scared them all away! I have to say I way preferred Guy when he was a sleaze bag – I don’t like all this one-woman stuff – but there are plenty of links about this as well so that’s all I will say on the matter!

I love his “staying alive” dancing in EP9 S1 when he picks all those nurses and then drops them when they won’t kiss him! Brilliant!

Oooh, now I wouldn’t say he was a bore – ‘tis a tad harsh; he’s a great character but (getting back on to topic) so are they all – I think every character brings something extra to the show – well apart from Angela coz I always thought she was a cow!! I never saw the point of her apart from making Caroline look twice as brilliant, funny and sweet!!

I think that was the point of Angela though Holly, she always anoyed the heck out of me too with her 'little miss perfect' act

To be fair to Angela though, she did have some very funny lines in the first series, and she was incredibly nice to Caro when she arrived. It was only later that she started being a bit of a cow, and I can't think what started it. After they started living together, definitely.

She did have some funny bits , the wolf dancing was great. It was very mean (and strange) of her to steal Caroline's pants though.

i wanted to hate holly i really did but admittedly i found myself laughing at some of her scenes. esp the one with sue and the blinking...oh and guy and the toaster lol.

At last! Someone is fed up with hearing about Mac! Me to. I'd rather talk about Guy or the other characters any day.

she didn't steal caro's pants- she accused caro of stealing hers!! very funny bit tho

I completely agree, it's just Mac this Mac that with some people. Sometimes his wit really gets on my nerves, and the way he always uses his hands to illustrate his wit, it's so ANNOYING. However having said that, I don't want to get into the bad books of any Mac-lovers, so I'll just say that I only hate him occasionally and then just quietly back out of the conversation. Goodbye.

Can I just stress the point of this thread is not to encourage "mac-bashing" but not to talk about him full-stop...

Hello again. Just to say, past experiences have led me to believe that any thread that talks about not talking about something actually talks about that something more than any other thread because everyone's talking about not talking about that something.

So my advice is to not start them in the first place.

Hello...i'm newish to the green wing forum cos i used to read them all when i was supposed to be revising so i banned myself, lol. this threas looked like a good place to start....i actually thought angela was really funny, especically in her last ep for the tv thing!
