ok, so you'll probably think im mad but really im not! the other day i was watching gw on my laptop, on my lap (close up to my face), and realised that you miss so much when you watch it on tv, metres awaty from you. even now, it made me notice things that i had missed. silly things like a coat hanger in martin's white coat, but still. and you can see mac close up, with all his lovely freckles. you should really try it. i think you can get a lot more out of it!

You may all lynch me for this but it kind of put me off mac a bit! He looks like an old friend of mine close up, who is ugly and geeky and it freaked me out! It dawned on me that he has the same mannerisms as him too and I haven't been able to look at mac the same since!

sorry, i have to disagree - i never noticed mac's freckles as much before, but they look lovely close up! you do totally notice so much more! i hadnt realised at the party that karen doesnt actualy touch martin's crotch but its actually the spring, and that sue white has pointy things down her bra at the party too!

i find that the closer you get to the screen, the better looking SM gets. youd think that impossible! but nope, he goes from OMG! to OMGx2 etc

I love the views of both of them up close - SM has lovely eyelashes, a pretty fringe, and I adore every single freckle and wrinkle on JRT. He looks very polished in the airbrushed publicity photos, but I like the au naturals. (yeah, don't know how to spell that, and most of you guys probably do! but you know what I mean.)

yes, the natural look on julian is definitely best. its just a pity that we can't see them so close up in real life...well i guess people who have had photos taken with them have, but you know what i mean.

My current tiny tv would make this a waste of time for me, but I do remember when I had a bigger screen going very close during certain scenes in Keen Eddie just to see That Face, close enough practically to count his eyelashes. I really must get some cash so I can get a 60-inch HD tv and see him larger than life, lush close-ups...that incredible voice surrounding me from an 8-speaker home-theatre stereo - I'd probably never leave the house.

I've just got a new computer at home and its got a big screen so I've got the picture of JRT looking throught the incubator as my wallpaper and in close up his eyes just look so blue and the freckles are delightful.
Even my husband looked at it and said ''god hes handsome''
